Ja’Nae Washington, raised in Lancaster VA, has been dancing since the age of 4. Upon receiving her B.F.A in dance at Radford University, during her college years, she constantly sought out different workshops and conventions in places like LA, NYC and ATL. Ja’Nae’s start as a choreographer was with Radford’s hip hop dance team “Are You Hype” in 2011. Since then, she’s choreographed for numerous music artist for stage, music videos, events, as well as worked with dance teams for all occasions from competitions to half time shows. After graduating in 2013, Ja’Nae has been teaching and dancing professionally in NYC dancing for A list celebrities such as but not limited to 50 Cent, Trey Songz, Remy Ma, Ashanti, Lil Uzi Vert and Neyo, gracing stages like Madison Square Garden, Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Atlantic Barclays Center, Carnegie Hall and more. She’s made television appearances on networks like MTV, BET,STARZ, and Lifetime. In the midst of all of that Ja’Nae loves to teach and mentor the future generation of the dance industry working with the youth and adults. She hopes to encourage others to dream big and never give up because believe it or not, with hard work and dedication, dreams do come true.
